Upcoming Resilience Session for International Men’s Day – Join us as we host PJ Gallagher

Positive2Work Skillnet is delighted to announce a very special event in honour of International Men’s Day, our upcoming online session, “Resilience in Action,” taking place on November 19th. This initiative, organised collaboratively with our partners Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet, Waterford Chamber Skillnet, and Learning Waves Skillnet, is designed to provide men across Ireland a unique opportunity to come together and connect.

We’re proud to host PJ Gallagher, one of Ireland’s most engaging broadcasters, comedians, and mental health advocates, as our keynote speaker. PJ will share his personal experience of building resilience in the face of adversity, offering insights that promise to break stigma and ignite open conversation. His journey highlights the importance of not just surviving hard times, but emerging from them stronger and more connected.

International Men’s Day is an important moment to pause, reflect, and support each other. The challenges facing men today, both in the workplace and at home, can be significant. Our aim is to create a space where real stories are shared and practical strategies learned.

For Positive2Work Skillnet, resilience training sits at the very core of our professional development programmes. We empower people to manage stress, embrace change, and build positive supports.

We invite men from all backgrounds and sectors to join us on International Men’s Day for this free session. Listen, and learn. Together, let’s celebrate strength, solidarity, and the collective power of coming through challenges.
