Positive2Work Skillnet were delighted to join in celebrating the recent graduation of the Green Homes Project in Dublin Docks site on 23rd March 2022. A fantastic achievement by all the participants that have now trained in essential retrofitting skills! This training directly addresses the skills gap needed to respond to the Government target of completing 500,000 home energy upgrades by 2030. We are thrilled to be able to offer this training to 60 job seekers throughout this year.
This programme follows on from the huge success of the Green Homes project in 2021, which saw 40 jobseekers trained, with a 68% follow on employment rate.
Funding for this project was secured from Skills Connect, Skillnet Ireland.
